Justin Frimpong Kodua is leading the race for the position of General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), according to a poll conducted by Global Info Analytics.
The incumbent General Secretary of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Frimpong Kodua, is leading the race for the position of General Secretary ahead of the party’s national executive election, according to a poll conducted by Global Info Analytics.
The poll puts Mr Frimpong Kodua at 44.6%, giving him a significant lead over the other contenders.
A further 32.7% of respondents remain undecided, while 11.2% declined to disclose their preferred candidate.
Former Bortianor-Ngleshie Amanfrom Member of Parliament, Sylvester Tetteh, follows with 7.6%.
Eugene Antwi records 2.2%, while Charles Dwamena has 1.7%.
The figures give Mr Frimpong Kodua a substantial lead, although the high proportion of undecided respondents suggests the race could still change as the NPP’s internal election approaches.
