Munhumutapa Day Marked On 15 September
Munhumutapa Day was established as an annual public holiday on 15 September to commemorate Zimbabwe’s pre-colonial Mutapa heritage.
The cattle donation comes as Mnangagwa has publicly been associated with agricultural activities at Precabe Farm in Sherwood, Kwekwe.
New Ziana reported that the farm has cattle, goats, pigs, poultry and fish, alongside crop production. It said the farm has about 2,000 cattle.
The report also stated that two cattle have been slaughtered each week to feed farm workers since 2008.
The 588 cattle were presented as part of the birthday celebrations, with each donor’s contribution tied directly to Mnangagwa’s age.
