The fight is scheduled to take place at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.
Joshua and Fury have been at each other’s throats for almost a decade since the two boxers were at the peak of the world heavyweight hierarchy.
A fight between them has been scheduled twice, but both times the plan fell through.
The upcoming bout will be Joshua’s second-round knockout of Kristian Prenga in July 2026. The 36-year-old had to recover from two first-round knockdowns to defeat the Albanian in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
A few months earlier, Joshua had narrowly survived a car crash along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway during the Yuletide holiday in Nigeria in 2025. The accident claimed the lives of the boxer’s close friends — Sina Ghami and Latif ‘Latz’ Ayodele.
