Liverpool have rejected a £30 million bid from Nottingham Forest for Trey Nyoni.
Reports indicate Forest tabled an offer of £25 million plus £5 million in add-ons for the 19-year-old midfielder, whose parents are Zimbabwean.
According to This Is Anfield, Nyoni is one of the few defensive-minded options in Andoni Iraola’s midfield and showed what he can offer after coming off the bench against Forest at the weekend.
Iraola brought him on for the final 13 minutes of Liverpool’s 2-2 draw with Forest on Saturday, 29 August.
Nyoni is highly rated at Anfield and is seen as a valued member of Iraola’s squad going into the 2026-27 season.
He is expected to play a major role this season following Curtis Jones’s departure, and is likely to quickly surpass the 237 minutes he played in 2025-26.
