Two 14-year-old twin boys have been found stabbed to death inside their Mamelodi West home. Their mother reportedly discovered their bodies after returning from work.

Police have launched a double murder investigation after an attacker stabbed 14-year-old twin boys to death inside their Mamelodi West home.
Officers found the twins with multiple stab wounds inside a bedroom on Friday, 2 October.
Their mother reportedly discovered their bodies when she returned home from work.
Mother finds twin boys dead in bedroom
olice rushed to the house after receiving a report of a murder scene.
Gauteng police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi said officers found the lifeless bodies of the twins inside a bedroom.
Nevhuhulwi said the boys’ mother reportedly found them after returning from work.
Police have not yet established what happened before the attack or who killed the twins.
“The circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown at this stage and no one has been arrested,” Nevhuhulwi said.
No arrests after twins stabbed to death
Investigators are now working to establish a motive and reconstruct the events leading up to the killings.
Police have not yet announced any arrests or identified a suspect.
They have also not disclosed whether the attacker forced entry into the home or whether anything was taken.
The double murder investigation continues.
