Dutch Eredivisie club FC Utrecht has officially signed 39-year-old veteran forward Nordin Amrabat on a free transfer. The move takes immediate effect, making him eligible for upcoming matches after spending the last two weeks training with Anthony Correia’s squad.
Amrabat joins the club following his departure from Moroccan side Wydad AC. The transfer was heavily influenced by his brother, former FC Utrecht midfielder Sofyan Amrabat, who initiated contact with technical director Jordy Zuidam to discuss the opportunity.
FC Utrecht management expressed strong enthusiasm for the signing, highlighting a distinguished career path that includes stints at PSV Eindhoven, Galatasaray, Málaga, and Watford.
