Hitz Praise Zone earns nomination at 2026 Praise Achievement Awards

Hitz Praise Zone, the gospel programme on Hitz 103.9 FM, has been nominated for the Christian Radio Programme of the Year at the 2026 Praise Achievement Awards.

The programme is among 10 nominees in the category, which recognises radio shows that contribute to Christian broadcasting in Ghana. Other nominees represent stations including Spice FM, Sunny FM, Energy Radio, No. 1 FM, Sweet Melodies, Starr FM, Zed FM and Kristocentric.

The nominations were unveiled on Sunday, October 18, at the African Regent Hotel in Accra, ahead of the fifth edition of the awards.

Scheduled for Sunday, December 13, 2026, the ceremony will be held under the theme “Honouring Greatness, Celebrating True Excellence.”

The nomination of Hitz Praise Zone recognises its place in Ghana’s gospel broadcasting space, where radio remains an important platform for sharing gospel music, promoting Christian expression and engaging listeners through faith-centred programming.

The nomination also puts the Hitz 103.9 FM programme in contention for one of the awards celebrating contributions to christian radio in the country.

The winners are expected to be announced at the December ceremony.
