This is with good reason, with the club’s 2026 transfer window leaving fans with a clear feeling of unfinished business.

Here is a look at seven players linked with a move to United…

Sehrou Guirassy (Striker)

Borussia Dortmund striker Sehrou Guirassy is back on Manchester United’s radar for the January transfer window, report Teamtalk. United may need extra reinforcements in attack amid Benjamin Sesko’s ongoing fitness problems. Guirassy is 30 and Dortmund would be looking for a fee in excess of £30 million.

Tyrick Mitchell (Left-back)

Crystal Palace left-back Tyrick Mitchell could be available as a left-back reinforcement for United, claim Teamtalk. Mitchell, 27, has scored two goals in five games for the Eagles this season, and has previously been capped twice by England. Crucially his contract expires in summer 2027, which could prompt Palace to decide to cash in during the January window.

Gabriel Rajkovic (Forward)

Manchester United are scouting Norwegian wonderkid Gabriel Rajkovic, who has already made his debut for Valerenga at 15. Norwegian outlet TV2 have covered United’s interest, with the player admitting that he is Red Devils fans.

Santiago Beltran (Goalkeeper)

River Plate goalkeeper Santiago Beltran is keen on a move to Europe, and Manchester United are among the clubs paying attention, report Diario Uno. United do not necessarily need a new goalkeeper, but this one is just worth noting in case it does develop.

Mezian Mesloub (Forward)

Lens wonderkid Mezian Mesloub is the talk of Europe after making his debut for the club in the Champions League at 16. Teamtalk report that Manchester United view him as a possible replacement for JJ Gabriel, but similar to Rajkovic, a deal is difficult due to his age.

Jarrad Branthwaite (Centre-back)

Manchester United’s interest in Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite will be revisited in 2027, reports Football Insider. The centre-back was a target for United in 2024, before Ineos walked away over Everton’s demands. Branthwaite recently impressed in Everton’s 2-2 draw against United.

Endrick (Striker)

Real Madrid decided to keep Endrick in the summer rather than loan him out. But the Brazilian striker has struggled for game time under Jose Mourinho so far this season. Football Transfers report that Manchester United will be interested if Endrick becomes available in January.
