“Put the Pride Aside and Listen to Advice” – Lil Win Urged to Settle Beef With Van Vicker

Ghanaian actor and filmmaker Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lil Win, has been urged to put aside pride, settle his differences with fellow actor Van Vicker and seek the support of some of Ghana’s established movie stars for his upcoming film, A Journey to Africa.

In a strongly worded message, a commentator who described Lil Win as a friend said the actor should focus more on making the movie successful than surrounding the project with excessive publicity and unnecessary controversies.

According to the commentator, Lil Win is investing millions of cedis into A Journey to Africa and should therefore prioritise strategies that can help the production attract audiences both locally and internationally.

The commentator particularly criticised the perceived tension between Lil Win and Van Vicker, describing it as unnecessary and arguing that there was no need for the two actors to compete.

Van Vicker was described as an established actor with a strong international profile, and Lil Win was encouraged to approach him respectfully and explore the possibility of having him involved in the production.

Similar advice was extended to other veteran Ghanaian actors, including Akrobeto, Agya Koo, Mr Beautiful and Nana Ama McBrown. The commentator argued that asking established personalities to participate simply because they would be paid may not always be the most effective approach, stressing that respect and genuine collaboration can be more valuable.

The message proposed a potential cast featuring Lil Win, Van Vicker, Akrobeto, Agya Koo, Mr Beautiful and Nana Ama McBrown alongside Nigerian stars, suggesting that such a combination could significantly boost the movie’s appeal.

The commentator also cited musician Kofi Kinaata as an example of an entertainer who maintains a relatively low-key approach while allowing his work to generate attention.

Lil Win was further encouraged to strengthen his public relations and management team, with the commentator arguing that effective advisers should know when to promote an artiste, offer honest counsel, keep certain matters private and discourage unnecessary controversies.

The central message was that collaboration, humility and respect could help A Journey to Africa achieve greater success than rivalry and publicity-driven controversy.
