Namibian President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah is scheduled to officially open the 116th edition of the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show in Harare on Friday.
Speaking during a post-Cabinet media briefing in Harare on Tuesday, 25 August, Agriculture, Mechanisation and Irrigation Development Minister Anxious Masuka said Nandi-Ndaitwah will be the guest of honour at this year’s official opening.
“The President of the Republic of Namibia, Dr Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, has graciously agreed to be the guest of honour at the official opening of the 116th edition of the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show on Friday. I invite all of you,” Masuka said.
About 640 exhibitors are showcasing their products and services at the show, a 4.4 per cent increase from last year.
All exhibition halls at the Zimbabwe Agricultural Society (ZAS) are fully booked. This year’s show is running under the theme, “Powering Growth: Where Agriculture, Technology and Commerce Converge”.
