WC learner transport resumes as diesel-cost talks continue

Western Cape learner transport operators agreed to resume services on Wednesday, 7 October 2026, after a one-day suspension affected 21,934 learners. Talks over rising diesel costs and possible relief from the provincial education department are continuing.
