Abubakar Sedik buried in Ghana — MyJoyOnline

Abubakar Sedik, head of the Ahafo-Ano South West District Administration, has been buried in Ghana. Ashanti Regional Minister Frank Amoakohene described the deceased as an exceptional and hardworking administrator whose work significantly contributed to the district’s development, MyJoyOnline reports.

Farewell in Mankranso

Amoakohene addressed participants in the farewell ceremony at the square near the assembly in Mankranso. According to him, Sedik’s sudden death was a major loss for the district, the Ashanti Region, and the National Democratic Congress.

The minister described the late official as a promising young politician who demonstrated leadership qualities, dedication to his work, and a clear vision for the development of Ahafo-Ano South West. According to Amoakohene, Sedik responded quickly to the challenges facing the district and worked tirelessly to address residents’ problems.

Continuation of projects

Frank Amoakohene stated that the official’s death would not halt the district’s development. He assured residents that the government would continue implementing development projects to preserve and build on Sedik’s legacy.

The funeral was attended by relatives, friends, government officials, party supporters, and community residents. Some attendees wept as the official’s body was taken for burial. Other heads of district administrations who spoke to Adom News described Sedik as a dedicated colleague and expressed condolences to his family, the residents of Ahafo-Ano South West, and the National Democratic Congress.
