FC Platinum appoint Bhasera as assistant coach

FC PLATINUM have appointed former Zimbabwe international Onismor Bhasera as the club’s new assistant coach, replacing former Bafana Bafana midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane.

Letsholonyane recently left the Zvishavane-based side after being appointed head coach of Botswana club Mochudi Centre Chiefs.

Bhasera, a former SuperSport United defender, will work under South African coach Thabo Senong, who is currently in charge of FC Platinum’s senior men’s team.

Announcing the appointment, FC Platinum said Bhasera brings extensive experience to the club after a distinguished playing and coaching career.

“FC Platinum is pleased to announce the appointment of former Zimbabwe international Onismor Bhasera as the Club’s new Assistant Coach.

“Bhasera joins Pure Platinum Play bringing with him a wealth of experience from a distinguished playing and coaching career.

“His experience, leadership and understanding of the game will add valuable depth to our technical team as we continue to strengthen the Club and build for the future.

“Working alongside Head Coach Thabo Senong, Bhasera will be part of a technical team focused on developing our players, strengthening the squad and ensuring that FC Platinum remains competitive at the highest level.”

Bhasera joins FC Platinum after previously working as an assistant coach at SuperSport United in South Africa.

The appointment comes as FC Platinum continues to make changes to its technical department following the dismissal of coach Joel Luphahla in July.
