Jomoro MP donates over 30 motorcycles to NDC coordinators ahead of 2028 elections

The Member of Parliament for Jomoro, Dorcas Affo-Toffey, has donated more than 30 motorcycles to National Democratic Congress (NDC) coordinators in the constituency to improve grassroots mobilisation ahead of the 2028 general elections.

The donation is expected to ease transportation challenges faced by party organisers, particularly those working in remote communities where poor road access and long distances often make engagement with residents difficult.

Madam Affo-Toffey, who is also the Deputy Minister for Transport, said the gesture was intended to strengthen the party’s grassroots structures and improve the mobility of coordinators as they carry out their activities across the constituency.

The donation follows requests from the coordinators for logistical support to enable them to reach communities where transportation difficulties have affected their work.

According to the Deputy Minister, providing the motorcycles forms part of efforts to equip grassroots organisers with the resources needed to engage more effectively with residents and strengthen the party’s presence across Jomoro.

She reaffirmed her commitment to promoting unity within the NDC and supporting party members as they prepare for the next general elections.

Madam Affo-Toffey also urged party members and supporters to continue working together, stressing that unity and collective effort were essential to building a stronger party and contributing to Ghana’s development.
