Shettima leads FG’s delegation to condole Bamanga Tukur’s family

President Bola Ahmed  Tinubu has sent a high powered Federal Government delegation headed by Vice president kashim Shettima to Adamawa State,  to condoled  the Government and people of the state, as well as Bamanga Tukur‘s immidiate family over the demise of elder statesman.  Shettima and members of delegation arrived Yola on Thursday afternoon and headed straight from the Airport to the Lamido palace to condoles with the Lamido,of Adamawa, Dr.Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha, and the Adamawa Emirate council over this irreplaceable lost.   The vice president and his delegation accompanied by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, were also at the resident of the late Bamanga Tukur, and they were received by his eldest son Barrister, Awwal Tukur the Secretary to the Adamawa State Government  ( SSG ) and other family members.  Speaking in an interview with journalists in deceased resident,  shettima said that they were in the state at the instruction of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu,  to extend condolences  to the  his immidiate family, government and people of Adamawa state over the great lost.  He described Bamanga Tukur as an elder stateman, a colosus, an icon and patriach  who served the country  and the state honestly and dedicatedly  and whose experience, wisdom, contributions and services to humanity would be greatly missed.  The vice president further prayed for the reposed of his soul and urged his family and the people of Adamawa state to take his demised in good faith, noting that he died at ripe age of 91 years surrounded by his family.
