The squad brings together young players from clubs and academies across the country as Ghana begins preparations for the regional competition, which will be held in Ouagadougou from 10 to 23 October 2026.
The group is made up of three goalkeepers, seven defenders, eight midfielders and six forwards. The players will use the camping period to develop their understanding, improve their combinations and compete for places in the final squad for the tournament.
The selection provides the foundation for the Black Maidens preparations as they look to assemble a competitive team for the assignment. With players drawn from different clubs and academies, the camp will also give the coaching staff an opportunity to assess the squad and build cohesion before the competition begins.
The 24 players have been called up at an important stage of Ghanas preparations. Training will allow the team to establish its approach, while the players will be competing among themselves for the places that will eventually make up the final tournament party.
