The Nigerian pair won 21-18, 21-10 to secure both the continental title and a spot at the Los Angeles 2028 Games.
The victory marks the first time Nigeria will field athletes in beach volleyball at the Olympics.
Mbah and Bawa dominated the second set after a tighter opener, finishing the match in straight sets.
Their qualification follows a series of improved performances by Nigeria’s beach volleyball programme, which has gained ground in African competition.
The duo will now shift focus to preparations for Los Angeles, where they are set to become Nigeria’s first representatives in the sport.
