Morning traffic updates:

Motorists are advised of a crash that has taken place on the N3 northbound after the ramp from Chatterton Road, resulting in the left lane being closed.

On the N3 Durban-bound there is a truck obstructing the slow lane at the bottom of Van Reenen.

Motorists are reminded of multiple weather warnings issued by the South African Weather Service (Saws) affecting KZN.

Motorists are advised to take extra precaution driving on slippery, wet roads as well as possible flooding.

On the N3, lane restrictions remain in place between EB Cloete interchange and the M13 exit at Paradise Valley, as well as between Ashburton and New England Road interchanges. Roadworks are also affecting the N3 between Shongweni and Hammarsdale.

The N3 Southbound Carriageway has been switched onto the Northbound Carriageway in a contraflow direction between Hammarsdale I/C and M13 (Key Ridge)
