South African superstar Tyla is set to take her music to some of the world’s biggest stadiums after being announced as a special guest on Bruno Mars’s expanded 2027 leg of ‘The Romantic Tour’.
The Grammy-winning singer will join Mars for the Australia and New Zealand dates, which form part of a major extension of the global tour. The newly announced shows will begin in Perth on February 13, 2027, before heading to Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Auckland.
Tyla will perform as a special guest throughout the Australia and New Zealand run, while Anderson. Paak will also feature on the newly announced shows as his DJ alter ego, DJ Pee.Wee.
The tour will additionally include a special performance by Silk Sonic, the duo comprising Mars and Anderson. Paak.
The expansion comes as Mars continues to build on the enormous demand for ‘The Romantic Tour’, which has already taken the superstar across major international markets.
After the newly announced dates in Australia and New Zealand, the tour will return to Asia, with shows planned in Singapore, Bangkok, Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Manila and South Korea.
Meanwhile, Mars has also added another Mexico City date to the tour. A fifth show at Estadio GNP Seguros is scheduled for December 11, following strong demand from fans.
For Tyla, the announcement marks another major international moment for the Johannesburg-born star, whose global rise has continued to place South African music and talent firmly on the world stage.
The singer will now share stadium stages with one of pop music’s biggest performers, introducing her electrifying sound to audiences across Australia and New Zealand.
Tickets for the newly announced dates are set to go on sale in September.
