Julius Malema is allegedly slimmer in pictures from a recent appearance

EFF leader Julius Malema has drawn attention on social media after pictures from a recent public appearance prompted claims that he appears to have lost more weight. Some users focused on his physical appearance, with the discussion unfolding amid wider social media commentary about politicians’ looks. Malema has previously spoken about changing his diet and exercising to maintain a healthier lifestyle, but the latest pictures alone do not establish whether he has recently lost additional weight.

What the post does not settle is whether the change in his appearance is recent, since the post says the latest pictures alone do not establish whether he has lost additional weight. The post also does not say where the pictures were taken or when. Those details matter because they would establish whether his appearance has actually changed. Without them, the pictures show only how he looked at that appearance, and the claims about further weight loss remain unverified.

Some viewers focused on his physical appearance, with some saying he looked noticeably slimmer and others saying the pictures did not prove anything. Some praised him for taking his health seriously, while others said the discussion about politicians’ looks had become intrusive and that his weight should not be a topic of public debate.

What has not been settled is whether Malema has commented on the claims or whether he has discussed his health recently. The pictures alone do not establish whether he has recently lost additional weight, and the post does not say whether he has changed his routine. The public is waiting for more information, because the claims have spread without any confirmation from him about his health.
