Alejandro Garnacho's freefall at Aston Villa accelerates as Unai Emery already made firm decision

Manchester United looks more and more vindicated to have sold Alejandro Garnacho with each passing day, but his career downfall hasn’t quite hit rock bottom yet.

After Chelsea discarded Alejandro Garnacho after one season, he now finds himself on loan at Aston Villa, firmly on the bench and seemingly out of Unai Emery’s first-team plans.

According to the Daily Mail, the next step in Garnacho’s career is already being plotted, with La Liga sides taking an interest in signing the Argentine in what would surely signal the end of his career at an elite level, with the three big boys in Spain unlikely to be suitors.

With his next move sure to be a step down, it seems Unai Emery has already made a decisive call over Garnacho’s future, with the lack of minutes proving he won’t be signed.

It wouldn’t be shocking to see Garnacho’s loan cancelled in January, in what would be a sad reflection of just how badly his career has gone since leaving United.
