Mr. Kwadwo Addo, a businessman and National Democratic Congress (NDC) Chairman hopeful for the Amansie South Constituency, has donated 200 bags of cement and two tonnes of iron rods towards the completion of a new constituency office project. The gesture is his personal contribution as a member and stakeholder towards the development of the party in the constituency.
He noted that the party cannot continue to operate its day-to-day activities from a rented room and that he sees it as incumbent on him to contribute his quota to ensure the timely completion of the newly initiated project.

Mr. Addo noted that operating from a rented premises dents and tarnishes the image of the party hence the need for the party to have its own constituency office.
The aspirant expressed optimism that if given the nod to become the constituency chairman, he would ensure that the NDC wins the Amansie South parliamentary seat from the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Mr. Addo assured party members and delegates, he would work tirelessly and effectively to ensure an overwhelming increase in votes to make winning the seat a mere formality.
Mr. Antwi Agyei, the incumbent Constituency Chairman of the Party on behalf of constituency Executives expressed appreciation to Mr. Addo for his commitment to the party’s development in the constituency and called on other well-meaning members to support the project.
He urged members of the party work effectively towards the vision of annexing the seat from the opposition NPP.
Mr. Joseph Addai, the Constituency Youth Organizer, commended the initiative by Mr. Addo, who he described as the incoming chairman, and wished him the best of luck. He said the office, when completed, would become one of the best legacy projects under President John Dramani Mahama and his government in the constituency.
