Ronnel Donnelly scored twice as South Africa completed a 7–0 aggregate win in Bloemfontein.
Banyana Banyana beat Madagascar 3–0 at Toyota Stadium in Bloemfontein on Tuesday, 13 October, completing a 7–0 aggregate victory in their second-round qualifier for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
SAFA’s official match centre lists Tuesday’s match as full time. South Africa had won the first leg 4–0 at the same venue on Friday, 9 October.
Ronnel Donnelly scored twice after coming on in the second half. SAFA’s match updates recorded her doubling the lead in the 64th minute and making it 3–0 in the 76th.
The two goals added to the hat-trick she scored in the first leg, when Hildah Magaia scored South Africa’s other goal.
Both legs were played in Bloemfontein because Madagascar did not have a suitable venue, SAFA said before Tuesday’s match. The first leg was played behind closed doors at Madagascar’s request.
