The Bulawayo Regional Court has sentenced Sakhile Ndhlovu (43), Twoboy Tshuma (30), and Decent Ncube (28) to an effective 15 years’ imprisonment each for kidnapping, the National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe (NPAZ) is reporting.
The incident occurred on June 22, 2026, at approximately 21:00 hours.
The three offenders armed themselves with axes and knobkerries before arriving at King Masuku’s homestead in Ntabazinduna, where the victim resided. They forcibly seized him and bundled him into their vehicle, accusing him of knowing a person they suspected of plotting to rob their shop.
Throughout the night, the offenders subjected the victim to repeated physical assault while demanding the identity of the alleged conspirator.
At approximately 05:00 hours the following morning, they released him and dropped him back at his home.
The matter was then reported to the police, leading to the trio’s arrest.
