Kenya Power Announces 7 Counties Set for Tuesday Blackouts

Kenya Power has announced scheduled electricity supply interruptions in selected parts of seven counties on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, to allow for network routine maintenance.

Affected Regions and Specific Locations

1. Nairobi County (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

• Parts of Kitisuru: Rosslyn Lone Tree, Ruaka Road, Ruaka Groove, parts of Limuru Road, and adjacent customers.
• Mombasa Road Area: Alpha Centre, REREC Offices, Nice & Lovely, Manchester Knit, Viraj Complex, Crown Health, Auto Express Mombasa Road, Total Petrol Station opposite JKI Airport, and nearby customers.

2. Kiambu County (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

• Thika Industrial Area: Bidco, Toyota Kenya, Munene Industries, Bhuco Factory, YMCA, Kenya Railways, Kenya Paper Industries, BAT, Broadways, Slaughter House, Mama Millers, Mt. Kenya University, Mundia Area, and nearby locations.
