Jibrin: Wike an Asset Who Sacrificed for APC, Tinubu

Former lawmaker Abdulmumin Jibrin has described the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, as a major asset to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and President Bola Tinubu, noting that he has made significant sacrifices for the party.

Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today, Jibrin argued that APC members across the country have benefited directly and indirectly from Wike’s efforts.

He emphasized that the minister’s contributions, particularly in Rivers State, have strengthened the ruling party.

“I can say this clearly: there is no APC member who has not directly or indirectly benefited from the efforts of Wike. He has sacrificed so much for the APC and the President. Wike has handed over Rivers State to the APC,” Jibrin said.

He cautioned against embarrassing Wike with public criticism, urging APC governors to adopt a more diplomatic approach in their dealings with him.

Jibrin added that even members of other political parties have acknowledged Wike’s role, stressing that his influence extends beyond partisan lines.

“Wike is an asset to the APC. I don’t think he should be embarrassed at this moment with public statements,” he noted.
