In the Eredivisie, Abdellah Ouazane set Ajax Amsterdam on course for victory, Ismael Baouf and Rafik El Arguioui contributed to SC Cambuur’s goal fest, while Mohammed Ihattaren made the difference for Fortuna Sittard in stoppage time.

On Sunday against Sparta Rotterdam, Ouazane opened the scoring in the 22nd minute with a shot from the edge of the penalty area that found the bottom-right corner of the net.

Mohammed Ihattaren, meanwhile, helped Fortuna Sittard break the deadlock against Excelsior Rotterdam by delivering a corner-kick assist for the only goal of the match.

Having come on as a substitute just ten minutes earlier, in the 82nd minute, the Moroccan attacking midfielder has now recorded seven direct goal contributions for his team this season, with three goals and four assists in nine appearances.

Younes Taha also made his mark with an assist for FC Twente in their away match against AZ Alkmaar. The Moroccan winger has now contributed to five goals this season, scoring two and assisting three.

On Saturday, Ismael Baouf and Rafik El Arguioui stood out in SC Cambuur’s emphatic 6-1 victory over Willem II, in a clash between two teams promoted to the Dutch top flight this season.

The Moroccan center back scored his team’s third goal in the 18th minute with a header from close range off a cross from El Arguioui, who then found the back of the net in the 62nd minute, scoring Cambuur’s fifth goal after a mistake by the opposing goalkeeper.

In the Belgian league, Ilias Sebaoui also showcased his attacking efficiency by opening the scoring from the penalty spot for Sint-Truiden against Club Brugge. The Moroccan player has now recorded three goals and three assists since the start of the season, making him his team’s second-highest scorer.
