Petros Koukouras credits players’ determination ahead of Debibi United clash

Bibiani Gold Stars coach Petros Koukouras has praised his players determination and discipline as the team prepares for their away encounter against Debibi United in the Ghana Premier League.Gold Stars head into Sundays fixture following a 2-0 victory over Basake Holy Stars in matchweek six, with Kwame Opoku scoring both goals.Speaking to GoldStars TV, Koukouras attributed the teams improvement to the players commitment rather than changes to their training methods."You see, personally, for me, I didn't change anything. We didn't change the way we train, we didn't change many things. It's always down to the players. The players, they are more determined. They stick to the plan, they give their best."The coach also commended his squad for managing the game effectively despite being forced to make two substitutions in the first half."And especially the way that that win came with the two forced substitutions in the first half, we couldn't change a lot of things in the second half. But the players managed the game very well until we supported the team from the bench."Bibiani Gold Stars currently sit 14th with seven points from six matches. They will face Debibi United at Debibi Presby Park on Sunday, with kick-off scheduled for 3:00 pm.
