Wicknell Chivayo says he personally delivered the cars he had promised United Family International Church (UFIC) leader Emmanuel Makandiwa and his wife Ruth at the couple’s mansion in Harare.
Chivayo said he fulfilled his promise by delivering a brand-new 2026 Rolls-Royce Cullinan facelift to Prophet Makandiwa and a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon to his wife.
He shared photos of the delivery on social media and said he was taken aback by the Makandiwas’ “magnificent mansion” with its “unique architectural designs and opulent Italian-imported marble and finishings”.
The property, he said, made his own home feel like a house in Unit M in Chitungwiza, an old high-density suburb on the outskirts of Harare.
“It was only yesterday I realised that I still live in Unit M, Chitungwiza,” he said.
Chivayo also expressed his appreciation for the warmth, hospitality and genuine fellowship he received during the visit.
Before delivering the cars to the Makandiwas, Chivayo had several months ago offered an undisclosed gift to them, but the couple declined it and offered to pray for him instead.
Chivayo later went public about the rejection, saying the UFIC founders had chosen not to accept his donation.
“Prophet Makandiwa and his wife instead gratuitously offered to invite me to his house to pray for me to have more blessings in order to bless others,” he wrote.
He added that he had “no hard feelings” and would move on to others on his waiting list.
In late July 2026, Makandiwa reversed his position. During a church service, he announced that he was now ready to accept the gifts and would pray for Chivayo.
Shortly afterwards, in early August, Chivayo unveiled a lavish package: US$1 million towards the construction of Makandiwa’s church, a 2026 Rolls-Royce Cullinan facelift for the Prophet himself, and a new Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon – in a colour of her choice – for his wife Ruth.
On Sunday 9 August 2026, Makandiwa displayed the US$1 million cash gift before a cheering congregation, with 20 plastic-wrapped bundles of US$100 notes laid out before the church.
“This is actually a prophecy. The next bag is coming from you to the altar,” he told congregants.
