Stonebwoy featured on soundtrack for Hollywood action comedy ‘Wrong Toes’

Ghanaian musician Stonebwoy has joined an international collaboration featured on the official soundtrack of upcoming action comedy Boyz Trip, scheduled for worldwide theatrical release in 2027.

The award-winning recording artist features on Wrong Toes, a song bringing together Stonebwoy from Ghana, American recording artist Mashanda Faust and Atlanta-based musical group Hero The Band, blending African and American musical influences.

The Boyz Trip entertainment project, comprising the feature film, its original soundtrack and the Wrong Toes music video, is executive produced by Alan Key and Kyle Scott, co-founders of KeyScott Entertainment, headquartered in Brisbane, Australia.

The concept for Wrong Toes originated with Alan Key, whose creative vision laid the foundation for the song and its accompanying music video. Kyle Scott spearheaded the creative development and execution of that vision, bringing the project together musically and visually while working alongside recording artist Mashanda Faust to shape the song’s musical direction and overall presentation.

Written by Alan Key and Faten El Sayed, Wrong Toes has evolved into an international collaboration featuring artists from Ghana and the United States.

The official music video was recently filmed at Cape Town Film Studios in Cape Town, South Africa, with two-time award-winning creative director Warren Gray leading its creative direction.

Stonebwoy brings Ghanaian music to the global stage

Stonebwoy’s participation presents another opportunity to showcase Ghanaian music through international cinema.

Known for his blend of Afrobeats, reggae and dancehall, Stonebwoy contributes his signature sound to a soundtrack designed to connect audiences across Africa, North America, Europe and Australia.

His collaboration with American artists Mashanda Faust and Hero The Band also underscores the growing creative relationship between the African and American entertainment industries.

Wrong Toes is part of a collection of original music being developed for the Boyz Trip soundtrack through KeyScott Entertainment’s newly launched music division, which focuses on original film music, publishing, artist development and international collaborations.
