Kigezi takes hunt for first topflight win to Maroons

Kigezi HomeBoyz make a long trip from Kigezi to Kampala where opponents Maroons are lurking at the Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku on Sunday November 1, 2026.

The Gorillas remain one of the two sides yet to win a game in the premier league this season and sit at the base of the table with only one point, stunningly picked off KCCA on match day two.

They come into the game on the back of five losses on the bounce but face a tough opponent in Maroons who are now unbeaten in four matches [W2, D2].

Maroons are 9th with 11 points from eight matches and will hope to continue their run with a victory.

Jackson Nunda, Fred Amaku and Dickson Niwamanya will be key for the hosts if they are to garner maximum points.

In the other Sunday fixture, Express travel to Kamwokya to face hosts Ntugasaze.

Sunday November 1, 2026

• Ntugasaze vs Express – Kira Police Arena, Kamwokya 4pm
• Maroons vs Kigezi Home Boyz – Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku 4pm
