Karim Zito satisfied with performance of FC Ashantigold despite defeat to Heart of Lions

FC Ashantigold head coach Abdul Karim Zito has praised his players' performance despite their defeat to Heart of Lions over the weekend. The team from Obuasi travelled to face their Week five opponent at the Kpando Sports Stadium, keen to make it two wins in a row after their narrow victory over Debibi United.Unfortunately, in a game where FC Ashantigold had to suffer with 10 men after the half-hour mark, the team lost 3-2 at the end of the contest.Speaking at his post-match interview, Abdul Karim Zito appeared in high spirits, arguing that he was impressed with the performance of his team despite the outcome.Well, I think it was a nice game. My boys came in to play seriously, but unfortunately the red card brought my boys down. At a point, Heart of Lions struggled although they were leading. We are okay, and we will prepare for the match, Zito said. After the defeat, FC Ashantigold will now hope to bounce back to winning ways in their next match against FC Samartex.Heart of Lions, on the other hand, will lock horns with defending champions Medeama SC in their next outing.
