HyperX, the gaming division of HP Inc., has unveiled a new line-up of gaming devices, expanding its hardware portfolio as gamers and content creators increasingly demand equipment that combines performance, precision and personalisation.
The new products, showcased at gamescom 2026 in Cologne, Germany, are led by the HyperX Cloud Alpha Air gaming headset and Pulsefire Haste 3 Pro wireless gaming mouse. The devices were first unveiled at the company’s Level Awakening 2026 event in the United States.

HyperX said in a statement that the Cloud Alpha Air is its first open-back gaming headset and combines a wider soundstage with its Bass Tube technology, designed to retain the deep bass that can sometimes be compromised by open-back headsets.
“Gamers don’t just buy gear, they build identities around how they play. At HyperX, we believe great gaming is more than performance. It’s about immersion, self-expression, connection, and fun,” Josephine Tan, senior vice president and division president of Gaming Solutions at HP Inc., said.
The company said the headset is targeted at competitive gamers, creators and other high-performance users, offering improved positional awareness and audio customisation through its NGENUITY software. It is designed to make directional audio cues such as footsteps and environmental effects easier to identify during gameplay.
HyperX also introduced the Pulsefire Haste 3 Pro, its lightest wireless gaming mouse. Built around a 47-gram carbon-infused shell, the device comes with the company’s new HyperX Performance Sensor and offers sensitivity of up to 42,000 DPI, speeds of up to 800 inches per second and support for up to 70G acceleration.
Battery life can reach 150 hours at a 1K polling rate and 35 hours at 8K polling, according to the company, positioning the mouse for extended gaming sessions and esports competitions.
The launch also expands HyperX’s broader gaming ecosystem. Other products announced include the SoloCast 2 Pro microphone, Pulsefire Haste 3 Wireless and Pulsefire Haste 3 Wired mice. The SoloCast 2 Pro features dual-condenser capsules, vibration dampening, a built-in pop filter and microphone monitoring aimed at gamers and streamers.
The company is also introducing new colour options for some of its existing headsets and microphones as it seeks to appeal to gamers who increasingly view gaming equipment as part of their personal setup and identity. The new products are expected to become available in September.
