The Group A meeting is expected to be one of the most significant matches of the competition so far, with both teams arriving in strong form after victories in their previous games. The result could prove decisive as the two sides compete for crucial points in a tightly contested group.
Eastern Region, the reigning champions, impressed in their latest outing by beating Volta Region 3-1. Ashanti Region also produced a convincing performance, defeating Western Region 2-0.
Both teams will be looking to build on those results when they meet in what promises to be a closely fought contest between two of the leading sides in the championship.
The day will begin with Western Region taking on Upper West Region. Both teams will be aiming to recover from recent defeats and return to winning ways in a highly competitive youth tournament.
