Anas announced the forthcoming investigation in a Facebook post on Thursday, October 29, 2026, indicating that it was undertaken by The New Crusading Guide in collaboration with Tiger Eye.
According to Anas, the investigation draws on documentary evidence, court records and other findings gathered by the investigative teams.
The exposé, titled “The Stakes and Mystery of Angela List’s Nguvu/Konongo Mines,” is expected to explore the circumstances surrounding the mining operations.
Anas further revealed that the investigation would reveal additional details, including names and figures, when the findings are made public.
The investigative journalist’s upcoming publication is expected to raise questions about Ghana’s gold sector and the potential financial consequences for the country.
Meanwhile, Anas has yet to announce an official release date for the exposé, urging the public to remain alert for further announcements.
However, Anas’s announcement comes amid growing attention on the dispute surrounding Nguvu/Konongo Mines.
In his post, Anas wrote, “COMING SOON | The Stakes and Mystery of Angela List’s Nguvu/ kononogo Mines
The New Crusading Guide and Tiger Eye peered behind the gold veil. What we found sits in documents, in court records, and in places no one wanted us to look.
Some stories are reported. This one had to be dug out. No names yet. No numbers yet. Just this: when the full file opens, a lot of people will be reading it twice, and some will wish it had never been written.
The gold never tells the whole story. We will.
How is the fight reshaping Ghana’s gold sector and what is the state losing while it rages on? What networks and relationships underpin List’s operations? Who and who are behind. We unmask and break it down.
Some Facebooker reacting to the post stated, “Anas of all people has found his voice back after Nana’s Addo’s wasteful Government.
Another netizen added, “I can’t wait, but please, if current officials of government are involved, don’t be afraid; publish them all, for God and country.
People have to be exposed for who they are. I know you will not hide anything from the general public. Your integrity is still intact so far”.
“Hmmmm Ghana, I thought Anass has retired from his marvellous work; if he were to continue this work, Ghana would have been in-between Developing to Develop country but hmmm as it stands now old tins. Anyway, you are most welcome to duty”, a netizen added.
