The album, released on Wednesday, contains 15 tracks, including “FYP,” “Away,” “Oyi’Oche,” “Money Na Cheche,” “Dreams,” “No Competition,” “Call You Back,” “Young Forever,” “Awilo,” “Vibe Check,” “Magic,” “Halla My Name,” “Blessings” and “Grateful.”

Among the featured artistes, Magnito appears on “Call You Back,” while 2Baba collaborates on “Young Forever.” Jumabee also features on “Blessings.”

The project follows the release of several singles, including “No Competition,” “Dreams” and “Magic,” which helped generate interest ahead of the album’s arrival.

IceKing, the son of Nigerian businessman, real estate investor and philanthropist King Ochacho, has continued to attract attention with his musical activities and growing presence on digital streaming platforms.

Earlier this month, his song “No Competition” surpassed one million streams on Spotify. The young artiste celebrated the milestone on October 2, sharing the achievement with his father.

The song had also recorded encouraging performances across other platforms. A September report indicated that it ranked 49th on Spotify Nigeria, 35th on YouTube Nigeria and 31st on Nigeria’s Shazam chart. Its Audiomack streams had also exceeded 179,000 at the time.

IceKing first attracted public attention in 2020 when he performed at the inaugural Ochacho Carnival in Otukpo, Benue State, at the age of seven.

The event featured established Nigerian artistes, including Davido, Zlatan and Peruzzi. Following his performance, Davido reportedly described the youngster as “The Future,” a phrase that later became the title of his album.

With the release of the 15 track project, IceKing will be looking to build on his growing popularity and establish a lasting presence in Nigeria’s competitive music industry.
