Primate Ayodele Blasts Tinubu Government Over Rising Hardship

Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has criticised the Federal Government, warning that Nigerians are enduring severe hardship under President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
In a video statement released on Sunday, Ayodele lamented the state of the nation, citing rising school fees, soaring market prices, insecurity, and worsening economic conditions.
“Everything is not going well in Nigeria under this government. Nigerians are in serious pain,” he said.
The cleric warned that the level of frustration could spill over into violence during the 2027 campaign season, cautioning that APC supporters might face attacks in areas where the ruling party is unpopular.
“There is heat, serious heat, not small one. If you stay inside AC, you will be feeling heat. That is the kind of thing that is coming in this election,” Ayodele declared.
He further advised President Tinubu that those around him could damage his chances in the next election, alleging they were not being truthful with him.
“Those surrounding you will ruin your chances in the presidential election. They are not telling you the truth,” he warned.
Ayodele also urged the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Joash Amupitan, to safeguard his integrity in the 2027 polls or risk losing credibility.
Earlier, the cleric predicted that Tinubu would face serious challenges in the North and the Federal Capital Territory, insisting that winning Abuja would only be possible through manipulation.
