The move brings an end to Mensahs time at Mantova, where he arrived from Pordenone in August 2022. He played for Mantova during their 2023-24 promotion-winning season, when the club secured the Italian third-division championship.
Mensah had previously spent two seasons with Pordenone after joining from Triestina on a free transfer in July 2021. Before that, he represented Triestina and Virtus Verona, while his senior career began with Sandra before he moved to Virtus Verona in 2011.
The forward is listed at 1.86m and favours his right foot. His arrival gives Cittadella a player with experience across Italys professional divisions, including Serie B and Serie C.
Cittadella currently compete in Serie C - A, while Mantova are in Serie B. Mensahs transfer therefore represents a move down one tier of Italian football after his spell with Mantova.
His recorded market value is 150,000, although no transfer fee was paid for the move. The deal was completed on 30 August, with Mensah now registered as a Cittadella player.
