India to become world’s largest economy by 2047
VIJAYAWADA – India could become the world’s largest economy by 2047.
This was stated by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu while speaking at the PAN-IIT technology summit in Vijayawada, reports ANI, a partner of TV BRICS.
According to Naidu, India is maintaining steady economic growth and gradually strengthening its position in the global economy. He noted that developed countries took decades, and even centuries, to reach their current level of economic development, while some Asian countries have significantly accelerated this process.
The PAN-IIT Summit brought together alumni of the Indian Institutes of Technology, government and business representatives, entrepreneurs, investors, start-ups, the scientific community, and technology companies. Participants discussed opportunities to develop Andhra Pradesh’s technology and innovation ecosystem and its growth prospects.
The main topics included artificial intelligence, quantum and other cutting-edge technologies, start-ups, modern manufacturing, and digital innovation. Andhra Pradesh also plans to attract significant investment in artificial intelligence, space technology, deep tech, clean energy, and data centres.
