Where to get the Red Bull Advent Calendar in South Africa

Over the past few days, our social media feeds have been inundated with posts about the 2026 Red Bull Advent Calendar. As you may have guessed by the name, this product takes the daily surprise of an advent calendar and, instead of receiving a piece of chocolate or a small toy, you get a can of Red Bull.

Many of those posts talking about how cool this idea is, are then followed by people unable to find the product in stock anywhere in South Africa.

Thankfully, today, we have just found it available on Amazon South Africa, priced at R499. You can click or tap here to be taken to its store page where, at the time of writing, it’s in stock.

If you visit that page and find it sold out, don’t stress. Just wait a few hours and check again, as we’ve seen the item go in and out of stock a few times while writing this article.

So what do you get for your money? We’re going to share the description below, but since a big part of the advent calendar is the surprise of something new every day, you can skip the quote below – and the following gallery – if you don’t want this information revealed to you.

“Red Bull Advent Calendar Unwrap 24 days of Wiiings with the Red Bull Advent Pack, featuring 9 flavours from the Red Bull brand. A merry mix of 4 cans of Red Bull Energy Drink and 2 cans each of Red Bull Sugarfree, Red Bull Xero, and Red Bull Editions: Watermelon, Apricot, White Peach, Cherry Edition, and 4 cans each of the new Red Bull Summer Edition Citrus Zest & exclusive Festive Edition,” the description reads.

R499 for 24 cans works out to around R20.80 per can, rounded up to the nearest whole cent. Depending on where you buy your energy drinks, and which energy drinks you prefer, this price may seem like a bargain or a expensive pick.

After drinking a lot of energy drinks in our lives, we will say that around R20 per can of Red Bull (at 250 millilitres each) is what around what we expect to pay locally, but we usually wait for a discount on this brand.

Finally, we need to talk about the fact that the advent calendar is so hard to find. According to the official Red Bull South Africa account on Twitter/X, it should be available in more places

“The Red Bull Advent Calendar is available at Amazon, Takealot, Dis-Chem, Pick n Pay, Spar, Massmart and Shoprite/Checkers,” the account shared recently.

At the time of writing, none of the online stores for those companies have the advent calendars in stock. You may be able to find them in physical stores, however.

If you do find them in other places, let us know on Facebook or Twitter/X.
