How Lotto works

A standard entry costs R5 per board. The draw uses six main numbers from 1 to 58, followed by a bonus number. A prize depends on the winning combination and the applicable game rules; buying more entries does not guarantee a return.

How to check your ticket

• Match each main number carefully and check any bonus or PowerBall separately.
• Confirm the draw date and game printed on the ticket.
• Use an authorised National Lottery channel to verify a possible win before making a claim.
• Keep the original ticket safe and do not publish its barcode or identifying details online.

When this page will update

EBNewsDaily will replace the waiting notice with the verified number line after the live draw. Refresh this URL after the scheduled draw time rather than searching for a second article.

Read the official game rules for complete entry, prize and claim conditions.

Play responsibly: National Lottery games are for people aged 18 and older. Lottery play is entertainment, not a way to earn an income or solve financial difficulties.
