Christians Must Exercise Holy Ghost Authority – Prophet

Prophet Daniel Doe addressing the congregation

The Founder and Leader of the International Power Endowment Chapel (IPEC), Prophet Daniel Doe, has urged Christians to carry and exercise the authority of the Holy Ghost to overcome spiritual attacks and challenges in their lives.

He said the authority of the Holy Ghost gives believers the power to command, control and determine what happen in their environment, both spiritually and physically.

Prophet Doe made the call when he preached at the climax of IPEC’s 10th anniversary celebration at the church’s auditorium at Odeneho Kwadaso (Star Inside) in Kumasi on Sunday, October 4, 2026.

He said Christians who failed to understand and exercise the authority of the Holy Ghost could remain vulnerable to attacks and challenges from the devil.

According to him, some believers struggle with sickness, poverty, confusion and other challenges, not necessarily because God does not hear their prayers, but because they have failed to tap into the power of the Holy Spirit.

Prophet Doe identified three major foundations through which Christians could exercise the authority of the Holy Ghost – the name, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

He explained that the name of Jesus Christ was central to the exercise of spiritual authority and urged believers to have faith in the name and use it confidently.

Quoting Acts 4:12, he said there was no other name under heaven given among mankind by which salvation could be obtained except the name of Jesus Christ.

The IPEC founder also urged Christians not to allow the devil to intimidate them with their past sins and failures.

He explained that the death of Jesus Christ had cancelled the condemnation that the devil could bring against believers, describing Satan as “the accuser of the brethren.”

He said the devil would always seek to accuse believers, sometimes reminding them of their own sins or those of their parents, forefathers and ancestors.

Prophet Doe cited the biblical account of Jeremiah, saying God assured the prophet that although people would fight against him, they would not prevail because God would be with him to deliver him.

He also referred to the healing of the lame man by Peter and John in Acts 3, saying the apostles demonstrated the authority of the Holy Ghost through the name of Jesus Christ.

He therefore encouraged Christians to deepen their relationship with the Holy Spirit and exercise the authority available to them through Christ.
