Berlin, Germany | THE INDEPENDENT | TECNO is set to showcase a new generation of smartphones, laptops and smart devices at IFA ShowStoppers 2026 in Berlin, as the technology company expands its push into premium design, artificial intelligence and connected consumer devices.
The company will headline its showcase with the Next-Gen Bezelless Concept Phone, which it says will feature a true 0mm display border, and the MEGABOOK T15 360 Pro, a laptop designed with a 360-degree hinge and touchscreen.
TECNO’s presence at the September 3 event comes as manufacturers increasingly compete around thinner designs, flexible devices and artificial intelligence as they seek to differentiate products in a crowded consumer electronics market.
According to TECNO, the showcase will also provide an opportunity to demonstrate how its devices are being developed for a wider range of uses, including work, education, entertainment and content creation.
Chasing the borderless screen
The Next-Gen Bezelless Concept Phone will make its first in-person appearance at IFA ShowStoppers 2026, following TECNO’s Modular Concept Phone showcase at Mobile World Congress earlier this year.
The company says the new concept addresses one of the remaining visual limitations of full-screen smartphones—the narrow black border between the active display and the phone’s outer frame.
TECNO says its engineers have developed a true 0mm display border by reworking the internal stacking, structural design and screen packaging.
The company says the approach is intended to deliver a more immersive display while pushing smartphone design closer to an edge-to-edge screen.
The development comes as smartphone makers continue to compete over display size, device thickness and screen-to-body ratios, with consumers increasingly using phones for video, gaming, photography, social media and content creation.
A laptop that changes form
The MEGABOOK T15 360 Pro will lead TECNO’s laptop showcase, alongside the MEGABOOK K15S WCL and MEGABOOK T17 Ultra.
The T15 360 Pro is TECNO’s first laptop to combine a 360-degree hinge with 10-point touchscreen interaction, allowing users to shift the device between different configurations depending on the task.
The laptop is powered by an Intel Core Ultra processor with an integrated neural processing unit (NPU) and a 70Wh battery.
It comes with a 15.6-inch 2.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate and optional support for an MPP 2.0 active pen.
The company is positioning the device as a flexible machine for productivity, study, creative work and entertainment.
The MEGABOOK K15S WCL is aimed at consumers looking for a more accessible everyday computing option, while the MEGABOOK T17 Ultra targets users who want a larger screen and higher performance.
The T17 Ultra will be TECNO’s first 17-inch laptop and will feature Intel Meteor Lake Ultra processing with NPU capabilities, a 99.99Wh battery and 100W GaN fast charging.
TECNO brings in Italian design
The company’s IFA showcase will also feature its collaboration with Tonino Lamborghini, extending the partnership into smartphones, tablets and gaming hardware.
The TECNO POVA 8 PRO 5G Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition is scheduled to launch on September 4.
TECNO says the phone combines Tonino Lamborghini's Italian design influence with a dual-chipset architecture, Sony imaging sensors and AI functions.
The partnership will also produce the TECNO MEGAPAD 2 Tonino Lamborghini Limited Edition, expected in the fourth quarter.
The tablet will feature an 11-inch 2.5K eye-care display and the same design identity used across the collaboration.
In gaming, the Tonino Lamborghini TECNO TAURUS, also known as the MEGA MINI G1 Pro, will be presented as a compact water-cooled gaming PC with an all-metal body and RGB lighting.
Building beyond the smartphone
TECNO will also showcase the CAMON Slim 5G, CAMON Slim, MEGAPAD SE 2, Watch 4 and Buds 5, widening its portfolio beyond smartphones and laptops.
The CAMON Slim 5G is built around a 6.39mm-thick design, imaging and AI features, while the CAMON Slim combines the same thickness with a 3D-curved unibody design and a 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 Ultra Night Camera.
The MEGAPAD SE 2 is designed for study and everyday productivity, with AI features intended to make learning and other tasks more intuitive.
The Watch 4 is aimed at fitness and outdoor activities, while Buds 5 offers up to 50 hours of playback and a charging case that can also function as a phone stand.
The expanding portfolio reflects TECNO’s effort to build a broader ecosystem around its smartphone business, with devices designed to work across different aspects of consumers’ daily lives.
For Ugandan consumers, many of whom increasingly depend on smartphones and computers for communication, work, education, entertainment and content creation, the products on display offer a view of the direction consumer technology is taking.
TECNO will showcase its latest devices at Hall 5.3, Tables 501 and 503, at Berlin Messe on September 3 from 6pm to 9pm.
