Trump Says He’ll ‘Think About’ Nicki Minaj As White House Press Secretary

US President Donald Trump has reacted to the suggestion that rapper Nicki Minaj could become the next White House press secretary, saying he would consider the idea.

Trump was asked about the possibility during an appearance on political commentary podcast The Benny Show, hosted by Benny Johnson.

“That’s a good idea. I think I’ll have to think about that. I’m gonna think about that,” he said, adding that Johnson himself could also be “pretty good” in the role.

The exchange comes as Minaj has become more visible in Trump’s political activities.

The rapper appeared alongside the president at a rally in Port Huron, Michigan, on October 25, where she voiced support for Republican candidates Mike Rogers and John James ahead of the midterm elections.

Trump acknowledged Minaj’s presence during the event and invited her to stand before the crowd, making a remark about her appearance.

Minaj has increasingly expressed support for Trump and his political agenda, drawing attention from both fans and political commentators.
