I Feel My Time On Earth Is Very Limited Since July 17 Last Year, So I Hurry To Do What I Want”Oliseh

According to a video posted on Global Football Insight YouTube channel on Friday October 23, 2026, former Super Eagles player Sunday Oliseh said he has felt that his time on earth is limited since July 17 last year. He said this has made him want to do what he wants to do without delay. He spoke about the feeling in an interview on the channel’s podcast.

The host asked him what sits at the top of his priorities. Oliseh said his children come first, because he wants them to have a better life than he has had. He called them his seeds and said he has had a blessed life.

In his words, Sunday Oliseh said, “The one that is dawning on me, that has been dawning on me since July 17 last year, is that my time on earth is limited, very, very limited.

“If my junior brother can go to sleep, it might as well be me. It might as well. It’s time for me to be in a hurry to leave this life. I should hurry up and do what I want to do,” he said.

Oliseh explained his meaning in the same interview. He said he has to hurry to enjoy what is left of his life. He said it is about being happy and enjoying the time everyone has left.

He said he has had a lot of losses lately. He said he is still mourning a friend who was buried two to three weeks before the interview, and that he could not travel to Nigeria in time to say goodbye. He said the burial was done too quickly for anyone to arrange the trip.

Oliseh said that tomorrow is not guaranteed, and not even the next two hours. He said football is no longer at the top of his priority list, and that this may disappoint some people. He said he has other private priorities he did not wish to discuss.
