Hillerod coach Lonstrup believes Ghanaian forward Hakim Sulemana can continue his development after returning to the Danish second-tier club on a permanent deal.Sulemana has signed a contract until the summer of 2028 after spending the 2025/26 season on loan at Hillerod from Randers FC.The 21-year-old made 18 appearances and scored two goals during his loan spell, with Lonstrup particularly impressed by his progress towards the end of the campaign.We are delighted to welcome Hakim back to the Hillerod family. Hakim began to show really good development towards the end of last season, and we hope he can continue that here, Lonstrup said.The coach believes Sulemana became increasingly competitive for a place in the team as the season progressed.Hakim started to compete for a place towards the end of the season and made a difference on the pitch, so we would like to see him continue in the next two years, he added.Sulemana returns to Hillerod after a proposed move to Scottish Premiership side St Mirren collapsed following a breakdown in negotiations.The former Ghana Under-20 international, who helped Ghana win gold at the 2023 African Games, will now look to build on his previous experience with Hillerod as he begins his permanent spell with the club.
