Taylor Swift’s Chiefs Game Appearance Sparks Debate After Fan-Filming Incident Goes Viral

Taylor Swift appeared to express frustration after a woman attempted to film her during the Kansas City Chiefs’ NFL game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.

The singer was watching her husband, Travis Kelce, and the Chiefs from a luxury suite at Arrowhead Stadium when the incident occurred.

A video shared on TikTok and circulated on social media appeared to show a woman sitting in the row in front of Swift turning around and raising her phone towards the pop star while the match was underway.

Swift appeared to gesture towards the woman, seemingly indicating that she should stop filming and turn her attention back to the action on the field.

A man sitting several seats away then appeared to address the woman and ask her to turn around and put her phone away. Swift’s online fans claimed the man was part of her security team, although that was not confirmed in the account of the incident.

Singer Watches Chiefs Victory Alongside Caitlin Clark

Swift attended the game less than 24 hours after appearing at the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles.

Wearing an all-red outfit, the 36-year-old singer was seen cheering on the Chiefs from her suite alongside WNBA star Caitlin Clark and musician Este Haim.

She was also photographed greeting her mother-in-law, Donna Kelce, during the game. Swift’s wedding ring was visible as she watched the match.

The appearance continued her regular support for the Chiefs since marrying Kelce in a lavish New York City ceremony earlier in the summer.

Chiefs Defeat Chargers 22-6

The Chiefs secured a 22-6 victory over the Chargers, maintaining their position among the NFL’s remaining unbeaten teams.

Kenneth Walker, the team’s major free-agent acquisition, rushed for 128 yards and scored two touchdowns. Xavier Worthy recorded seven catches for 73 yards, while Kelce finished with five receptions for 53 yards.

The result left Kansas City among the final three teams yet to lose a game, while the Chargers remained one of the final two teams still without a victory.

The Chiefs will face another test next week when they travel to Seattle to play the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Seahawks.

Swift Attended Academy Museum Gala Before NFL Appearance

Swift’s appearance at Arrowhead Stadium followed her attendance at the invite-only Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday.

She wore a strapless pale-blue Dior gown on the red carpet and debuted a shorter hairstyle, with curls framing her face and one side tucked behind her ear.

The singer narrowly avoided an awkward reunion with Kim Kardashian, with whom she has been involved in a public feud for more than a decade.

Later in the evening, Swift performed several of her songs, including “Blank Space”, “Love Story” and “The Fate of Ophelia”.

Taylor Swift’s Presence at Chiefs Games Continues to Divide NFL Fans

Swift’s appearances at her husband’s games have regularly attracted attention from fans, with many welcoming her support for Kelce.

However, some NFL viewers have criticised broadcasters for frequently showing the singer during game coverage whenever she attends a match.

Last month, Swift also became the subject of online debate after celebrating a Kelce touchdown against the Indianapolis Colts by pointing towards her wedding ring.

The singer, who attended that game with her parents, Scott and Andrea Swift, and Donna Kelce, was heard shouting, “That’s my husband!”

The moment attracted praise from many fans, although others expressed dissatisfaction with the attention given to Swift during NFL broadcasts.

Her latest appearance at Arrowhead Stadium came as the Chiefs continued their unbeaten start to the season.
