Four Ladysmith residents and a woman from East London and are the latest among the six South Africans to be reported missing after flash floods and mudslides near the Nepal - Tibet border.
The missing residents have been identified as Surendranath Maharaj, 74, and his wife Anitha Devi Maharaj, 67 and Vivaganathan Pillay, 66, and his wife Janet Pillay, 56, all of Ladysmith.
The Maharajs were travelling on the Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimage route, near the Nepal-Tibet border at Gyirong,when the flash flood and mudslide struck, on Wednesday,
Both couples were travelling with the Alpine Eco Trek & Expedition group.
Bhavika Ramjee from East London is also reported to be missing in Nepal

The other South African has been identified as Bavika Ramjee from East London and Terricia Govender, 33, of Isipingo Beach.
They are all believed to have went missing when an immigration office on the Tibet-Nepal border was washed away in the flash floods.

Due to local communication lines being down, the families have not been able to contact their loved once since Wednesday, when the floods hit.
Their disappearance comes as rescue teams continue searching for hundreds of people reported missing after the catastrophic flooding swept through communities and infrastructure on both sides of the Nepal-China border.

For the Maharaj family, the situation has been made even more urgent by Anitha Devi's medical needs.
In an missing persons flyer online, her family said she required her insulin, adding urgency to efforts to establish contact.
They said she was diabetic and urgently required her insulin, raising fears about her health the longer she remains unaccounted for and without access to her medication.
The families have appealed to anyone who may have information about both their missing relatives, to please come forward.
