Boeing Quietly Raised The 777-9's Range From 7,285 To 8,000 Nautical Miles Without Announcing It

Boeing has substantially increased the published range of its Boeing 777X aircraft family without issuing a dedicated announcement explaining the revisions. Comparisons between archived and current versions of the manufacturer’s website revealed that the advertised range of the Boeing 777-9 rose from 7,285 nautical miles (13,494 km) to 8,000 nautical miles (14,816 km), an increase of 715 nautical miles, or approximately 9.8%.
