Since Bawumia was imposed on the NPP, it’s been almost 2 years but they can’t boldly share his video

In an Official Facebook Post on 24 October 2026, Kevin Taylor, through his With All Due Respect platform, delivered a scathing critique of Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s leadership and the voices that defend him in Ghana’s political space. He argued that platforms like his have exposed the inconsistencies and weaknesses of public commentators such as Kofi Bentil, Kpebu, and Ace Ankomah, who once appeared credible to many Ghanaians. By juxtaposing their words and arguments, Taylor claimed that ordinary citizens can now decode their “idiocy and tomfoolery” without needing advanced intelligence.

Taylor specifically targeted Kofi Bentil’s defense of Bawumia, noting that Bentil had claimed Bawumia’s records surpass those of anyone in the NDC after John Mahama, yet failed to outline the supposed achievements. For Taylor, this omission revealed the emptiness of such arguments and the lack of substance behind Bawumia’s public image. He insisted that since Bawumia was “imposed” on the NPP as leader nearly two years ago, no NPP social media commentator has proudly advocated for him or consistently shared his speeches and videos.

According to Taylor, this silence is not accidental but stems from embarrassment. He described Bawumia’s public appearances as marked by “toilet jokes, silly laughs, and uncoordinated gestures,” arguing that no amount of branding or packaging could make him attractive to the electorate. His commentary suggested that even within the NPP, there is discomfort about projecting Bawumia as a credible leader, and that supporters shy away from amplifying his message because they recognize its weaknesses.

Taylor’s post reflects a broader frustration with what he sees as blind loyalty and intellectual dishonesty in Ghanaian politics. He positioned his platform as one that strips away the façade of credibility from commentators who defend leaders without evidence. By doing so, he claimed to empower ordinary Ghanaians to think critically and recognize when political rhetoric lacks substance.

Public reaction to such commentary is likely to be polarized. Supporters of Taylor may applaud his boldness and agree that Bawumia’s leadership style lacks depth, while critics may dismiss his remarks as partisan attacks. Nonetheless, his words resonate with ongoing debates about authenticity, credibility, and the role of political communication in shaping public perception.

Ultimately, Taylor’s post was not just an attack on Bawumia but a broader critique of Ghana’s political discourse. He reminded his audience that leadership must be measured by substance and results, not by branding or empty rhetoric. His message was clear: Ghanaians should demand more from their leaders and those who defend them, because credibility cannot be manufactured—it must be earned.
